How many 3v3 teams can my U7 squad make?
Every three players makes one Future Fit team — here is how that works for a real squad.
The calculation
Count the players you're bringing and divide by three, rounding down. Nine players makes three teams. Ten players still makes three teams, with one extra child rotating into the games. You don't need to decide who plays where when you book — just tell us the number.
Worked examples
| Players | Future Fit teams | Facilitators |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | 1 | 1 |
| 6 | 2 | 1 |
| 9 | 3 | 2 |
| 10 | 3 | 2 |
| 12 | 4 | 2 |
| 15 | 5 | 3 |
| 18 | 6 | 3 |
Fewer than three players
With fewer than three players there isn't a full 3v3 team, so no place is held and no facilitator is needed. In practice, clubs in that position usually team up with another club on the morning.
How places are counted
A Saturday holds up to twelve Future Fit teams in total across all clubs, so your booking reserves the number of teams your players create. If a Saturday is already full you can join the waiting list and we'll offer you any space that opens up.
